Texas Windstorm
Certificate Requirements

There are many coastal counties in Texas that  require the homeowner acquire a Texas Windstorm Certificate, WPI-8.

RoofEx will  have a Windstorm Certified Engineer visit your home at different phases of the installation to certify that your roof is compliant with the Texas Windstorm Code and that engineer will submit the application for the certificate to Texas Windstorm for the certification issuance.

If you live in these counties, your insurance company will require that you provide the certificate at the time of renewal of your insurance policy.

Counties requiring Windstorm Certificate:

Jefferson, Chambers, Galveston, Aransas, Brazoria, Calhoun, Cameron, Kenedy, Kleberg, Matagorda, Nueces, Refugio, San Patricio and Willacy.
